Neutralite is an incredibly explosive, highly unstable form of Cyanite, which has been altered on a molecular level, for the sheer purpose of destabilizing it. Neutralite is used primarily by the Westgaardian Empire and the Jexan Empire as an energy source and weapon. Neutralite is 100 times more explosive and unstable than nitroglycerin. It can be used in various forms, including as a solid, liquid, and a gas.
As a solid, Neutralite is the perfect fuel source, and can be stored and any temperature. However, it is most unstable in this form, and will expel the massive amount of energy it creates at the slightest bump or movement. Transportation takes hours and even days if traveling in between cities, as the Neutralite must be kept safe at all times, or else several city blocks will go up in flame.
As a liquid, Neutralite is usually used as a powerful acid, able to cause anyone the worst pain in the world with only a drop of it. A whole syringe burns skin and muscle (and even bone). It can and will Destroy anything that comes into contact with it.
As a gas, Neutralite is an insidious bioweapon that enters the host's body and slowly erodes their body until they are but a mindless zombie. If continually inhaled, the gas will eventually kill the host, melting their insides entirely, but the Westgaardian Empire and Kodian Empire use it as a powerful way of clearing whole bases or cities, leaving no one behind to resist.
A consequence of the large-scale Neutralite production is Neutralite Storms, which are violent, powerful lightning storms with explosive results. The bolts explode upon contact, and the clouds (besides "zombifying" anyone it touches), erodes anything that passes through it. This is a consequence also of the enhanced, more extreme weather conditions caused by Operation New Dawn.
